Direct Primary Care

Introducing Direct Primary Care

“DIRECT PRIMARY CARE (DPC) IS A PRACTICE AND PAYMENT MODEL WHERE PATIENTS/CONSUMERS PAY THEIR PHYSICIAN OR PRACTICE DIRECTLY IN THE FORM OF PERIODIC PAYMENTS FOR A DEFINED SET OF PRIMARY CARE SERVICES.”

About Direct Primary Care

Direct Primary care is health care between a patient and his/her provider, without insurance in the middle of the relationship. Monthly payments replace fee-for-service billing to third party insurance plans.

For providers, this revenue model can stabilize practice finances, allowing the provider and staff to focus on the needs of the patient instead of focusing on coding and billing for insurance companies.

Ideally, the DPC model is structured to emphasize and prioritize the intrinsic power of the relationship between a patient and his/her provider. This can improve individuals' health and lower overall health care costs.

The DPC contract fee structure can enable providers to spend more time with their patients, both in face-to-face visits/video, and through telephonic or electronic communications since they are not bound by insurance reimbursement restrictions.

*We are not able to offer Direct Primary Care to individuals residing in West Virginia, Arkansas and Oregon

Patient Benefits of Direct Primary Care

  • No Insurance Hassles: A DPC practice can manage 80-90% of all your healthcare needs at a lower cost vs. using your insurance. We do this by cutting out the middlemen and negotiating lower prices on your behalf.
  • Easy Provider Access: we provide easy provider access through a variety of telehealth venues- video, telephone, patient portal messaging.
  • On-Time Appointments: We never double-book appointments and a smaller practice size means more availability to fit your busy schedule.
  • Cost Transparency: All primary care services are included in your monthly membership. Any additional lab, medication, or imaging costs will be discussed with you upfront, so you always know what to expect.
  • Affordable Monthly Fees: One monthly fee covers all your primary care needs.
