What I love about being a Nurse Practitioner/ Philosophy of Care

“After years of training and experience in the field of nursing/medicine, I’ve grown to understand that the most important ingredient in healing is to place the body in the right environment to engage its self-healing cellular mechanisms. While pharmaceuticals can be useful, creating that right environment requires a wholistic approach that may include vitamin or herbal supplementation, dietary changes, and technologies like red light therapy. As such, it is possible that what once was thought “chronic” or “incurable” may be healed. As a naturopathic doctor and nurse practitioner, I enjoy helping you discover pathways to your right environment.”

Hobbies: Dr. Jody Mittiga lives in Louisiana, enjoys country living, home renovations, gardening, eating fresh Gulf shrimp, fishing, and being close to nature.
