Welcome to Telehealth NP. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, telehealth platform, and all related features provided by Telehealth NP (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our website or platform.


1. Overview of Services

Telehealth NP provides virtual healthcare through licensed Nurse Practitioners. Our services may include online consultations, prescription management, care coordination, and patient education. All services comply with applicable state and federal laws, including telehealth-specific regulations and scope-of-practice requirements.

We may update or modify our services at any time without prior notice.


2. Eligibility

To use Telehealth NP services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old (unless accompanied by a parent/guardian for approved pediatric visits)
  • Reside in a state where our Nurse Practitioners are licensed
  • Provide accurate, complete, and truthful information
  • Have the ability to engage in a virtual medical visit (via phone, video, or messaging)

Your eligibility may be denied or revoked if you violate these Terms or provide false information.


3. Not for Emergencies

Telehealth NP does not provide emergency medical care.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call
911 immediately.


4. Medical Advice Disclaimer

Any assessments, recommendations, or prescriptions provided through Telehealth NP are based solely on the information you provide and the professional judgment of our clinicians.

You understand and agree that:

  • Telehealth has limitations compared to in-person care.
  • Your clinician may determine that an in-person evaluation is required.
  • We do not guarantee diagnosis, treatment success, or medical outcomes.


5. User Responsibilities

As a user, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate medical history, symptoms, and health information
  • Use a secure internet connection when accessing sessions
  • Follow all care instructions provided by your clinician
  • Not misuse prescriptions or request inappropriate medications
  • Not record or distribute telehealth sessions without written consent

Misuse of the platform may result in termination of your account.


6. Prescription Policy

Telehealth NP clinicians prescribe medications only when medically appropriate and in accordance with state laws, clinical judgment, and standard practice.

We do not guarantee that a prescription will be issued.
We do
not prescribe controlled substances or medications restricted by federal or state laws unless permitted by regulation.

You agree to use prescribed medications responsibly and according to instructions.


7. Payment & Billing

By using Telehealth NP services, you agree to pay all fees associated with your visit.

  • Payment may be required before services are provided.
  • Pricing may change at any time.
  • Failure to pay may result in collection efforts or denial of future services.


Refunds are issued only at our discretion and in accordance with our refund policy.


8. Privacy & Security

Your use of Telehealth NP is also governed by our Privacy Policy / HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes:

  • What information we collect
  • How your PHI is used and shared
  • Security measures
  • Your rights under HIPAA

By using our services, you consent to the handling of your information according to that policy.


9. Telehealth Technology

Telehealth consultations rely on third-party technologies such as video platforms, messaging tools, and electronic health records.

While we use HIPAA-compliant systems, you acknowledge that:

  • Telehealth may encounter technical issues
  • Connectivity problems may interrupt or delay services
  • You are responsible for ensuring a functional device and internet connection


We are not liable for service interruptions caused by your equipment or network provider.


10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Telehealth NP website—including text, graphics, logos, images, software, videos, and educational materials—is owned by Telehealth NP or licensed to us.

You may not:

  • Copy
  • Distribute
  • Modify
  • Sell
  • Reproduce
  • Reverse-engineer any part of our content or platform without express written permission.


11. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use our platform for fraudulent or illegal purposes
  • Attempt to access restricted areas or systems
  • Upload harmful code, viruses, or malware
  • Harass or threaten clinicians or staff
  • Impersonate another person
  • Create multiple accounts to misuse services


Violation may result in account termination or legal action.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Telehealth NP is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
  • We are not responsible for losses resulting from misuse of prescriptions, inaccurate information provided by you, or failure to follow medical instructions.
  • Our liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount paid for that specific service.

Some states do not allow certain liability limitations, so these may not apply to you.


13. No Warranty

All services are provided “as-is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee:

  • That telehealth is appropriate for all conditions
  • That services will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • That diagnoses or outcomes will be accurate or successful


14. Cancellation & Termination

We reserve the right to:

  • Cancel or reschedule appointments
  • Deny service
  • Suspend or terminate your account
  • Refuse prescriptions or follow-up care

You may terminate your use of the platform at any time by ceasing to use it.


15. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party services or websites.
We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of those external sites.


16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by:

  • The laws of the State of Colorado (where Telehealth NP is physically listed)
  • Applicable federal healthcare laws
