Happy Thanksgiving Newsletter

Anna Yoder • November 28, 2022

As I look back over my year, I have so many reasons to be thankful. I traveled to Hawaii with my mom and 2 daughters, watched my younger daughter skip 4th grade, and enjoyed my older daughter grow our mini-urban farm by adding 4 baby chicks that she adores. The chicks are now old enough and are laying eggs! Furthermore, many of you have returned to Telehealth NP having remained healthy, covid- free, or sailing right through illness with great recovery. You have also referred me to your friends and family. What an honor!

Behind the scenes, I have been pursuing not only my vision to connect patients and providers, but to assist Nurse Practitioners endeavoring to start their own practice by providing them with the business support they need. I would like to introduce you to:

  • Dr. Jody Mittiga- a naturopathic doctor and adult NP, passionate about long covid and vaccine injury recovery
  • Nicole Baldwin- a family NP whose mission is to be licensed in every state
  • Kasandra Wylin- a family nurse practitioner who was an EMT 15 years prior to becoming an NP and who loves kids and the elderly (& everyone in between)
  • Julie Kolins- an integrative and functional medicine family NP who initially went to chiropractic school then changed her mind to become an NP
  • Anne Hannah – a family NP who has a holistic and integrative approach in addition to her conventional medicine knowledge; likes working with those with allergies, kids and adults
  • Courtney Tepedino- a women’s health NP specializing in all things female (except HRT- see Julie!).
  • Jennifer Vander Zee- a family NP who sees patients in clinical trials research, loves rural communities, and has extensive experience in infectious disease prevention.

Please check out their information here: Provider Page

Next, I have added additional resources and offerings for you I want to share.

  1. We still have our anti-viral emergency kits available, along with anti-bacterial and antifungal e-kits. These are available for $250 and include all the medications shipped to you. Emergency Kits
  2. Soon, we will be offering the option for you to build your own emergency kit, tailored to your needs when you consult one of our providers. Your RXs will be sent to your regular pharmacy and can be billed through your insurance (unless of course it is IVM & HCQ). These consultations for personalize E-kit are $150. We can reduce the price since medication is not included.
  3. We have partnered with Ulta Labs. Not only does our Patient Resources  page have links to Quest and LabCorp, but also to Ulta Labs. Because Ulta Labs is cash based, they can offer up to 70% reduction in lab prices. They use Quest facilities for their lab draws. Besides their reduced fees, Ulta Labs also offers you the ability to order your own labs! Here is a link to Telehealth NP’s Ulta Lab website: Ulta Labs
  4. A newsletter. I will be blogging and writing a newsletter for those interested. These two formats of communication will take the place of some of the patient portal letters. If you wish to receive my newsletter, please visit my website, scroll to the bottom of the page and provide your email. Subscribe to our newsletter  Otherwise, you can visit our blog at your leisure.
  5. While there is evidence of increased viral illnesses in the United States, referred to as the Triple Threat (covid, influenza and RSV), we are prepared to help you navigate this winter and these illnesses. The FLCCC has put out a great webinar addressing the Triple Threat and we are using the FLCCC, IDSA, and other evidenced based guidelines to help you. Please see the FLCCC’s  Updated FLCCC Protocols as well as their Triple Threat webinar: Triple Threat Webinar

On a fun note, Jody Mittiga and I attended the FLCCC’s first ever medical conference. It was held in Orlando, Florida October 14th -16th. It was amazing to meet other professionals working to treat covid affected individuals (prevention, treatment, long covid, vaccine injured)!

Here are a few pictures. The 1st picture is me with Dr. Pierre Kory. The 2nd picture is Jody with several of the speakers.

Sincerely,

Anna Yoder

Depression is often discussed in terms of brain chemistry, medications, or physical health. While these biological factors are important, many people also experience depression that is deeply connected to emotional pain, broken relationships, unresolved conflict, or feelings of disconnection.
